Department of English

Overview

The UG department of English was established in the year 2009 and upgraded as PG department of English in 2012. The department of English was upgraded research departments with M.Phil. and PH.D. courses 2017 onwards. The study of English literature and language is fundamental to liberal education. A dedicated team of 15 faculty members render a distinguished to enrich and strengthen the competencies of the students to Excel both in academic and extra curricular activities. The band of fraternity is also equipped the students with requisite skills and core values for high in learning achievements to frame the destination of one nation. Our department has the record of university rank holders and trained and placed to the students in various fields.  Our department association ATHENA is in tune with glorious academic records to develop  nurturing literary and language skills.
