History department established in 2018. Our college Chairman First ever inaugurated free bus for college studnts across Karur district and beyound karur districts. The department aim is poor and downdropdden student easily acces higher education. History department objectives is evelved students skills and personality. History department motivated students to prepare UPSE Examination, Like as IAS,IPS, and also TNSPC Examinations Group-I.II.IV. Etc. My Department encrouged students research fields such as P.hD.,and also motivated archaeological field and tourist guide.
The History Department prepares students for a wide range of careers by teaching a core set of transferable skills through the study of societies, Cultures and economies acrose a broad chronological and geographical spectrum.
The History Department seeks to build its students' transferable skills, employability and intellectual curiosity, along with raising public awarness about the past and its legacies, Through teaching, research and service activities conducted locally, statewide, regionally and internationally.
